The Oculus Quest 2 is more than the next iteration of the oculus product line. There are several new features that make this a leap forward in the long quest to push VR into the mainstream. The Quest 2 is a lighter, redesigned all-in-one headset that run on Qualcomm's Snapdragon XR2. It features higher AI capability and 6GB of RAM. Along with a new display featuring 50% more pixels, the Quest 2 introduces far more realistic visuals that its predecessors. The headset also ships with new touch controllers, both feature built-in hand-tracking and a built-in IPD mechanism. This version of the VR headset is leaps far ahead of the hard wired Rift S in terms of its refresh rate and resolution. this makes it a solid replacement for the original Quest and PC VR solution.
