Rolls-Royce Accel Electric Airplane

As the world races to an all electric future, cars have predominantly been the point of discussion.  Rolls Royce is trying to change that with the announcement of their new concept in air transportation.  The Rolls-Royce Accel Electric Airplane, currently under development in Gloucestershire, aims to be the fastest all-electric, zero-emissions plane in history.  Accel is short for 'Accelerating the Electrification of Flight'.  The plane's battery will contain about 6,000 dense cells that will power three lightweight motors.  It's slated to have a total of over 500 horsepower, a range of 200 miles, and a top-speed of 300 + mph.
