Style/Watches: Unique Watch Alert! (Xeric)

I've owned a lot of cool watches in my life. But this by far is the most unique watch I've ever owned.  It's the limited edition Xeric Soloscope automatic watch.  It's made by by Xeric, a spin-off watch company from the folks at watches.com (formerly Watchismo.com).

What makes this watch unique is the distinctive square shape and the split face.  On the left side you have two balance wheels that are in constant motion when the watch is fully charged.  The right side displays the time using a single hand that glides over two semi-circular grids - one for the longer side of the hand and the other for the shorter side. Reading the time might be difficult for some, but this watch really isn't made to make telling time easier.

The watch is an aesthetically modern with a classic touch that show cases the inner beauty of the automatic mechanism while telling time in a novel way.

I'll take this over any overpriced luxury watch any day.  For true connoisseurs of modern unique watch design, you can't go wrong with adding this to your collection.  Xeric is known for very unique watches and they have several options to choose from mostly exclusively from Xeric.com or Watches.com.  There are only a few versions of their watches on Amazon. This particular watch was sold exclusively by Xeric on their websites.
